Hej Danmark Vi blev kval 7 efter sidste kvalificering med tiden på 201 m 4,63 sek og hastighed på 251,99 km , men så kom der et voldsomt regnvejr og så var det slut Det er bare øv øv alle EM finalerne er blevet aflyst her søndag. Det har stortset begyndt at regne hvergang vi skulle til start. Og efterfølgende skulle banen tøres og gøres klar igen igen. Så det har været en træls dag :-( . Vi har en tid på færgen til mandag aften. Håber så alt vores udstyr er blevet tørt til den tid. For nu kan vi ikke pakke vores ( badeudstyr ) mvh Finn

Hej Danmark Det går fint i dag vi holder vores kval 5 tid ved EM på Mantorp. Vi skal køre en gang mere i dag. Og hvis vi fortsat er mellem de 8 hurtigste, kommer vi med i finalerne søndag. Vejret er fuld af solskind og luften dufter af Nitro. Livet er dejligt. Mvh Finn

VEIDEC Festival är Europas största och
häftigaste dragracingtävling, och utgör den
svenska deltävlingen i det officiella
Europamästerskapet. Tävlingen går liksom
tidigare år av stapeln sista helgen i juli,
28juli - 1augusti. Under helgen tävlar totalt 16
olika klasser, från råa gatbilar till extrema
Top Fuel dragsters i EM-serien. Dragracing på
den här nivån är väldigt svårt att föreställa
sig om man aldrig upplevt det, men som några
exempel på vad det handlar om kan nämnas att en
Top Fuel accelererar från 0-160 km/h på en (1!)
sekund och når ca 500 km/h i topphastighet efter
402 meter! För att klara av detta utvecklar
motorerna över 7 000 hk, drivs på högoktanig
nitrometan och låter ungefär som ett jetplan som
startar… En helt otrolig upplevelse med andra
ord!!
Utöver klassen Top Fuel är det 4 andra
bilklasser som tävlar i EM: Funny Car, Top
Methanol Dragster, Pro Stock samt Pro Modified
(ny sedan 2006). På MC-sidan är det 3 klasser
som tävlar i EM-serien, Super Twin, Top Fuel
Bike samt Pro Stock Bike. Resterande klasser
(bil och MC) tävlar i en Nordisk
Mästerskapsserie, NDRS. Ny klass i NDRS-serien
är Super Comp Bike som "ersätter" Street Bike på
VEIDEC Festival i år.

Hej.Hermed inviteres I til åbent hus i Mosten MC lørdag d. 17 april 2010. Hele vores team bestående af: Keld, Rasmus, Jesper, Tøren og undertegnede vil være tilstede, da vi skal teste den nye opsætning på vores Nikasil Yamaha Top Fuel Bike. Det vil være første gang i år vi skal teste den nye opsætning, så vi ser frem til en spændende weekend.Hvis der skulle være nogle som har spørgsmål omkring Dragracing og Nikasil, er I meget velkommen til at komme ned i vores Team pit, hvor jeg gerne besvarer alle spørgsmål, så spørg venligst efter Finn. Alle mekanikerne har travlt med at køre den nye motor-opsætning ind og det kræver ro og 100 % konsentration. Mosten MC byder på gratis kaffe og kage i klubhuset fra kl. 13.00 - 16.00 hvor alle også er velkomme, vi ses.

Et sandt Mekka for motorsports-interessede af enhver afskygning. Intet
mindre. Det står klart, når man nærlæser programmet for Auning Messen 2009,
der finder sted i Auning idrætscenter søndag 1. november.
I forhold til tidligere messe-arrangementer i Auning er de mere
traditionelle handelsmæssige og foreningsmæssige indslag suppleret med en
hel hal B, der indrettes som et stort udstillingsvindue med næsten alt hvad
der kan kruybe eller gå indenfor motorsport.
Ole Nørgaard fra Nørgaard Teknik i Auning og en af initiativtagerne til
Auning Kart Park er om nogen idemanden bag motorsportsmessen, hvor der hver
hele time fra kl. 10 bydes på udendørs action-indslag af fra 10 til 15
minutters varighed.
Og under tag i hal B kan man hele dagen få sin lyst styret på en stribe
stande, hvor repræsentanter for et stort antal foreninger og virksomheder
byder ind med stort og småt.
Og det med stort og småt skal tages helt bogstaveligt.
De mindste køretøjer kan man opleve med de små modelracerbiler hos Djurs
Slot Car Racing, som, til daglig har til huse som nærmeste nabo til Auning
Kart Park.
Randers RC Racing Bane møder op med betydeligt større fjernstyrede biler,
mens Randers Motor Sport præsenterer discipliner som motocross, motard og
microcross.
Finn Asserbo kommer på besøg med sin voldsomme topfuel Bike og en jetdrevet
Puch Maxi, mens messe-arrangørerne har lejet en rally-simulator, hvor
gæsterne kan få sig en »køretur« uden at sætte hverken eget eller andres liv
på spil.
»Vi vil på messen gerne give folk chancen for at se hvilke
fritidsaktiviteter, der findes indenfor motorsport. Samtidig har aktørerne
her tid til at tage sig en snak med de besøgende, fordi de ikke er ude at
køre hele tiden som ved almindelige motorsports-arrangementer,« forklarer
Ole Nørgaard.
Han ser også frem til at repræsentanter for de mange forskellige
motorsports-interesser kan få sig en god snak på tværs af de discipliner,
som de ellers selv er involveret i.
»Vi har oplevet en rigtig stor interesse for at komme og
deltage. Og så giver vi jo også almindelige private folk med en motorcykel
mulighed for at komme og vise sig frem på en stand inde i hallen.«
På den lange deltagerliste ses også Kronjyllands Speedway, DMKA, Allingåbro
Motor Festival, Gokart4Knejt, AMK med to danmarksmestre i roadracing, Legend
Care, tractor pulling med mange flere.

Kære Venner
Jeg er nu på vej tilbage til Sverige efter finalerne på Santa Pod i England.
Denne weekend har været en af de bedste racing weekender jeg nogensinde har
deltaget. Ankommer på onsdag, og gør sikkerheden inspektion i perfekt vejr. Så
er der 3 dage efter kvalifikation i solen gjorde det meget godt. På løbsdagen
var det nogle kolde vinde fra nord og nogle skyer, men intet, der stoppede os
fra racing. En kæmpe galede med tribunen og banken på den anden side fuldt ud
for både lørdag og søndag. Jeg har aldrig nogensinde set så mange allerede på
fredag.
Så lidt om sporet. Udarbejdelsen af banen var fremragende. Darren har også
fastsat nogle af hullerne i slutningen af sporet. Det eneste negative er, at jeg
spore er at blive gammel og er ikke så fladt som det kunne være. Jeg håber, at
Keith Bartlett nu vil tage skridtet og lave en ny overflade efter denne
spændende weekend. Han havde den galede, den racere og registre
Så noget om race og registre. I Top Fuel cykel var alle venter på Peter
Svensson, efter at han havde gjort en 5,93 tid i Norge, kunne han gøre det her.
Kunne nogen anden rytter bliver så hurtig eller. I den første kvalifikation på
fredag gjorde Peter viser os alle, at han var mand for at regne med 5.978 sek i
en runde, der var ikke perfekt, og så gjorde han en 6,0 og derefter 5,91 i
kvalifikationer. Andet var Ian King med et personligt bedste på 6,1 og følg
derefter alle andre. Vi havde 7 Top Fuel Bikes og Rickard Gustavsson på hans
Funny Bike på området. Udenfor var Rene van der Berg og Eric Teboul, både
ryttere, at jeg ventede på at blive kvalificeret, så det var tuf. I det fjerne
var det Peter og Steve Wollat i semi og Peter gik til finalen mod Sverre Dahl,
som viste, at han kan løbe hurtigt også. Han burde have race Ian King, men Ian
blev brudt, så det var en bye køre Sverre i semi. I den sidste var det Peter,
der var hurtigst og vandt løbet. Efter denne sejr var han færdig på sekunder
efter Ian King i mesterskabet. Rikard Gustavsson blev tredje med det samme punkt
som Rene van der Berg, men den vinder i Finland sted Rikard før Rene. Så det var
en spændende begivenhed og en spændende mesterskab i år. Næste år kan kun blive
bedre, og vil gøre, da Rikard bliver kom ud på en Top Fuel Bike. Rene vil have
en ny stærk cykel, og der er endnu en ny cykel, der kommer fra Norge, at Ronny
Aassen skal køre næste år. Hvor mange flere vil køre 5 sek runder næste år.
Peter Svensson har også sat en ny Top Speed registrere og hvis Keith lave en ny
overflade i Santa Pod, vil vi se en ny rekord til næste år måske vil løbet være
første 400 km / t tid.
I Pro Stock Bike var vi alle venter. For første gang i UEM har Dave Beck dukker
op. Han var meget velkommen fra os alle. Og efter den første kvalifikation, der
han gjorde en 7.169 runde, tæt på rekorden, var alt forladt. I næste runde var
både Anders Abrahamsson en Ulf Ogge under registrering og Fredrik Fredlund også
gjorde personligt bedste. Efter beskikkelsen er det Ulf Ogge, der var hurtigst
og havde registrere og derefter Anders og Dave før Fredlund. I semi var det
Fredlund mod Ulf Ogge og derefter Ogge har vundet denne runde var han
mesterskabet vinderen før Fredlund dette år. I den anden Halv var det Dave Beck
mod Anders og Dave lavet en ny rekord 7,07 sek, men mister til Anders på 7,11,
men med bedre reaktionstid. Efter både brændstof og størrelsen af motoren blev
kontrolleret og fundet i orden var referatet af Dave Beck ratificeret. Nu er
problemet med Dave's cykel, selv om der var nogle rygter i pit. Bit alt var
okay. I den endelige gjorde Anders sejr over Ulf Ogge, både at køre hurtigt på
en meget ved siden af race, men Anders var den første til målstregen.
I Super Twin var det, hvis Per Bengtsson eller Lorentz Stauble
vil vinde mesterskabet. Efter en meget spændende kvalifikation var Lorentz
første og Per sekund. Men i afskaffelsen ikke Lorentz cykel begynde, så derefter
blev Per efter at han havde gjort sin race vinder af mesterskabet. Per gjorde
race Job Heezen i den endelige, som han gjorde i Ungarn, men denne gang var Job
vinderen.
Der er meget mere at sige om Super Twin såsom Olstad ikke har nogen ting nu til
at koge spaghetti i, fordi det nu er et dække for hans kobling. Koblingen brød i
de kvalifikationer og den dækker gjorde sit arbejde. Per Bengtsson havde nogle
reservedele, og efter en masse arbejde, har de lave den cykel. De to KTM cykler
fra Finland havde også problemer, men jeg er sikker på, at Jaska vil løse
dengang, og måske næste år komme tilbage hurtigere end nogensinde.
Tak også til Keith Bartlett og Darren Prentice for alt det arbejde, de har gjort
i år. Santa Pod er en af de bedste baner i verden og derefter vejr, og folk er
på denne måde så er væddeløb meget godt. "
Efter dette er mesterskabet i 2009 færdig. Dette har været et stort år, dog ikke i 2008 med en masse regn. Nu er det vinter, og jeg håber, at jeg får chancen for at komme tilbage næste år, og gøre mit arbejde. Men man ved jo aldrig. Der er nogle problemer i fremtiden, og jeg håber, at de kan løses.
Inkluderet er de punkter, og den nye rekorder. Der er også en ny
snescooter optage fra Finland

I am now back from the third European Championship this year, held at Mantorp Park in sun, wind and some raindrops and rain.
A very big “Thank you” to Kjell Pettersson and all the other in the track team that again managed to make a good track out of nothing. The track is not getting better for every year and to make it good every year is a very hard work. But thanks to the experience of Kjell and the others, do they manage to make a track this year again. But I am afraid that it gets harder for every year to make a good track. Also all efforts to not give up even if it looks bad.
In Pro Stock Bike was it 9 qualifiers. But the return of Anders Jacobsson stopped direct after the first burn out then the engine broke. So then was it only eight. Fredrik Fredlund did end up as the number one qualifier and Martin Bishop was number two. In the last place did we have Bo Thorselius that returned this year on his old two strokes Kawasaki. In the first round did Fredlund win over Thorselius and Kennet Vik did win over Gabby. Martin Bishop on the other half of the ladder did win over Miia-Maria from Finland who made here first appearance outside Finland. Anders Abrahamsson that finally hade finds the problem he had for a long time did win over the current leader in the championship Ulf Ögge. Ögge had a terrible weekend with just problems. If it not was the bike then did he have problems with the direction of the bike, it is better to shout off then hit the wall. So in the Semi was it Kennet Vik against Anders Abrahmansson. Two Suzuki’s against each other.
The super twin turned out to be the many explosions and problems. We started with 21 bikes entered but Roman Sixta did not come after his problem in Finland and Torbjörn Svenssons bike was not ready to race. So we had 19 bikes that did pass the technical inspection. After qualification was it Hans Olav Olstad against his Norwegian friend Matti, and Matti did take the win since Olstad had some engine problems, but Matti also had some problems and did spray the track with oil that did almost take an hour to clean up. And there was some more problems so Matti could not race in the next round against Lorenz Stauble that did win over Svein Olaf Rolfstad that during qualification did scare us all then the chain brake and made a cloud of plastic. But for the handy Norwegians was it no problem to fix. It might not been a show winner but id looked okay. On the other half was it Job Heezen that was number two qualifier against Samu Kemppainen from Finland and then Job’s bike stopped was it a win for Samu . But in the next round against Per Bengtsson who had won over Greger Johansson was Per to strong and did win over Samu. An small notice is that in the round between Per and Greger was it some problems with the timing equipment and they had to shot off. Then they did the rerun was I very scared since the stage beam was behaving a little bit strange and I was afraid that we should have some more problems. But nothing happens and there was a good run. So in the semi was it Per Bengtsson against Lorenz Stauble.
In Top Fuel bike was it very nice to see so many Top Fuel Bikes again here in Sweden. We had 6 Top fuel Bikes at the site and some Funny Bikes. Top Fuel bikes starts to get really good. If we just could have the others in Europe coming would it be very good. There is bikes so we could easy have a full ladder of only Top Fuel Bike.
Peter Svensson was the one that take the lead from the first run until the semifinal setting new record for both Top Speed and ET. In the first run was it Peter against Otto Knebl and with the time 4.06 and 310 km/h was it an easy win for Peter. In the next pair was it Rikard Gustavsson on his funny bike against Peter Ström that was out again on his very nice top fuel bike. But Rikard was too fast for Peter that had some small problems. And in the semi was it Rikard against Peter Svensson but then did the minus connection on the battery fall of from Peters bike so it was a win for Rikard. Drag racing is always exiting since all things can happen
On that side of the ladder was it just Top Fuel Bikes of very high standard. Sverre Dahl did make a win over Rene van der Berg in the first round and did meet Ian King that had won over Kai Selekamaa. Sverre had the time 4.10 and Ian had 4.12 so it should be a even race in the first round.. And to the final went Sverre Dahl and Rikard Gustavsson.
Then decided the weather that it was enough of racing. At 16.22 did it start to rain some small drops and all the time then the track was almost ready for race did it start again. And at21.30 decided the race direction that it was to late. Then was still not braking area dry and it started to get dark. But I must say that looking at so many people waiting to get the track dry and helping with this is a very good example of sportsmanship. It was sorry that we did not manage to finish the finals in all classes. We had started with the Super Gas Bike and som Car classes then the rain com. Just 30 minutes and all have been done. No instead had we to wait long and I left Mantorp a little bit after 22.00 and retuned home just before two a clock.
This is some short notes from Sweden and Mantorp Park. The next race is in Hungary in the end of August. It will be a very exciting thing with this new track. I do hope that the people in Hungary manage to make a good track with some help.

Hallo all.
I am now sitting and relaxing in our nice house that we have here in Finland. This year this race has been a strange adventure. Coming here on Thursday morning to a very hot track and a lot of sunshine. All things did look very good. The sportsman categorise did qualify 5 times with some small oil problems but all worked very good. Waking up on Friday and it was cold and rain. But around one a clock did it stop and at two started the qualification again but due to some oil problem did we start the first motorcycle round at 5 and manage to do all.
But time did run out so the cars could not do a complete qualification on Friday.
On Saturday managed we to do two qualification with some luck. Some of the cars did just have one round on Saturday. Sometimes is it good to start early because the weather can and will always change
One thing more to add to general things is that I do hate synthetic oil. It is very hard to spot the oil on the track since it often is very small drops and it is very difficult to clean them up. Sometimes is it just a small spray but the result can be very dangerous for a racer. So we must have people on the side of the track going out and check the track after anything that looks strange. Also do we need to find a very effective way to clean up the oil. We cannot use two hours for cleaning the track after one incident. It is not that the people work ineffective but it is so hard to clean some times. I do understand that synthetic oil is here and we cannot ban it but we must learn to clean it. This is a common problem and not just here in Finland.
Also a special thank you to the doctor and ambulance people taking care of my wife then she did feel very sick on Saturday evening. And also to the people at the hospital in Loima taking care of her then she stayed there.
In Pro Stock Bike was it 7 riders entered, but Vesa Ratio did have a gear box problem and could not race. After the end of the qualification did we have Ulf Ögge as number on and Anders Abrahmansson, that now is back, again as number two. Fredrik Fredlund from Åland on third. Since it was a ladder of six riders was it the two cylinder bike on one side of the ladder and the Suzuki on the other side. But Fredlund did manage to go to the final after win over Martin Bishop and Gabby in the semi-final. It is always nice to have some ladies racing and here did we have two. Both Gabriella “Gabby” Nikoloska and Mia Maria Vepsaalainen. Gabby did win over Anders then his bike just jumped up three times and then straight to the right. In the final did Fredlund take the win over Ulf Ögge that did get a red light with just some thousand of a second but that is enough. So this year again did we have a finish winner in Pro Stock Bike in the Finnish race.
In Super Twin was it very hard this time. 18 riders had entered the race for just the 8 places. We did have riders from many countries and a lot of new Finnish riders that I never seen before. So many that I have hard to understand all new names. But with some good help from our UEM member Jari Halonen was it no problem at all.
Lorenz Stauble that was the number one qualifier followed bye Per Bengtsson from Sweden that did qualify as number two and Job Heezen as number three. In the first round was it all the low qualifiers that went on and in the semi final was it Stauble against Olstad first. And Lorenze did take the win. In the other semi was it per Bengtsson against Job Heezen and Per did take that win. So it was number one and two qualifier in the final but this time did number two, Per Bengtsson manage to take the win. That was good for the championship.
Some other small notice is that Jaska Salakari was back on the track with not one but two new bikes that still has some small problems but then that is solved will we see some very good times from this two bikes. There is a lot of new things on these two bikes that if all works may change a lot of ways how to handle such bikes. There is a complete new fuel system.
I must also mention that now did Anders Karling also get his bike to work without any bangs as last year. Every time did he improve the time of the bike so I am waiting for next race for him. At Mantorp will we have a very good field. It is 20 riders that has entered in Super Twin for the 8 bike field on Sunday-
Top Fuel Bike is always something special in Finland. Not so many riders are coming to Finland due to the expenses and that is always a problem. But we always do get some local riders and some of them making good times. This time did we have 11 riders entered of them was it four Top Fuel bikes and seven Funny Bikes. The UEM member Ian King did qualify first just before Sverre Dahl that was out for the first time this year. Rikard Gustavsson on his extreme fast Funny Bike was number three. Also did we se Kai Selkamaa again. Kai is missing a sponsor so he cannot make so many races this year unfortunally but I do hope that we will see him more times. He was number four and was in the race up against Rene van der Berg from Netherlands on his Top fuel bike.
But the semi final was very strange. Ian King had problems with his blower and could not race at all. So Rene had to make a solo run. After a very good burn out and getting the green light did nothing happens at all. The transmission belt was broken and the bike did not leave the starting line at all. So nobody was in the final from the upper side of the ladder. In the other semi was it Sverre against Rickard. But Sverre had to shout of due to a small oil leakage and Rickard had to make a Solo run. Rickard also had the solo in the final and ofcause did he do all things right and winning the event. But even since Rickard did have two solo runs did he give it all to the crowed and made some very good passes. There is no doubt at all that this is one of the fastest Funny Bike in the world. And Rickard have sorted it out very good.
This makes the race in Finland. All facilities and the track are very good. Sometimes is the track very hard to read and you had to understand the adjustment of the clutch and ignition to be able to make good times. The Bike pit was now divided in two with the sportsman bikes on the other side of the track leaving the UEM bikes in the old pit was a very good thing. Now was it more space. With 37 riders in UEM classes was it almost full any way. A special thanks for the house that we did have. This makes all easier at the race. I must say that the Finnish people is taking care of all things very good. It does feel good to come here.
The only problem I do have is that I now again was missing the UEM congress that someone have decided to have in July. I never understand how a motorcycle organisation can have a congress in the middle of the racing seasons. This is stupid I have sad it before and will say it again move it to either spring or autumn because we are a motorcycle organisation and we do most of all races in the summer time. So move the congress.
I am now waiting for the race in Mantorp in the end of July. This is going to be a great race. Again will the Super Twin and Top Fuel Bikes race over a 1/8 mile but we will have a lot of racers so the qualification will be very hard. I do hope that this will be the last year for this.

I mødet deltog
Esbjerg kommune: Kontorchef Conny Hornstrup samt Byrådsmedlem og formand for kulturudvalget Knud Jager Andersen.
DMU: Generalsekretær Henrik F. Kristensen, Palle Lind, SD RR & Karl Johnsen, SD BMX.
Der var ikke udfærdiget en egentlig dagsorden for mødet, som havde karakter af gensidig forventningsafstemning.
Esbjerg kommune fremlagde planerne for området. Det var planen at Motorsportscenter Danmark skal indgå som et flagskib i Esbjerg kommunes branding og fritidstilbud.
Når anlægget er etableret, er det meningen at der skal findes en privat invester eller et selskab, som skal drive arealet. Der vil her være betingelser, som gør at foreninger og idrætsforbund, kan benytte arealet på favorable vilkår. Motorklubber, som har hjemsted i Esbjerg kommune, vil få særdeles gunstige vilkår. Det er ikke meningen at generere en pengemaskine, på bekostning af mulighederne for at dyrke motorsport.
Der vil på arealet blive etableret baner til Speedway, Motocross, Road Racing/Bilsport, Rally-cross og Go-cart.
Palle Lind redegjorde for mulighederne for, at man på langsiden til asfaltbanen fik etableret mulighed for at der kan afholdes Drag Racing løb. Det var der hos kommunen forståelse for. Det vil herefter indgå i deres videre arbejde med asfaltbanen, at Drag Racing bør tilgodeses.
Med hensyn til etablering af en BMX bane på arealet, er det næppe sandsynligt. Esbjerg kommune vil friholde arealet til motorsport. Derimod var kommunen meget imødekommende, med hensyn til at indgå konstruktivt i etableringen af en BMX bane tættere på selve Esbjerg by. De så muligheder for at få aktiveret unge ved dette fritidstilbud.
Da der ikke er en BMX klub i Esbjerg kommune, blev det aftalt at Karl Johnsen holdt kontakten til kommunen med henblik på at få startet en klub op. Esbjerg kommune vil kunne skaffe nogle af midlerne til etablering af et BMX anlæg.
Med hensyn til tidsperspektivet for Motorsportscenter Danmark, kunne de ikke give et entydigt svar. I efteråret er der, som bekendt, kommunevalg. Det plejer at sætte en dæmper på nye anlægarbejder, og derfor vil resten af dette år nok være på vågeblus. Det var udvalgsformandens indtryk, at der straks efter valget vil komme skub i realiseringen af planerne, da der er et bredt politisk flertal for etableringen af banen.
Det blev aftalt, at DMU fremover løbende orienteres/høres, når der er ny udvikling omkring Motorsportscenter Danmark.
Konklusion:
Her og nu bør DMU sikre sig, at der i Esbjerg kommune etableres klub/klubber, som dækker Road Racing og Drag Racing. Vil skal være på forkant, så klubberne er etableret, når Motorsportscenteret står klar til brug. Klubberne vil så fra start blive en naturlig del af anlægget.
På samme måde bør det sikres, at der følges op på Esbjerg kommunes velvillighed til at få etableret BMX klub og bane i kommunen.
Begge dele bør drøftes i de 2 sportsdivisioner, hvor der bør lægges en egentlig strategi for at sikre, at det gennemføres.

Street Legal Nights
Vliegveld Drachten 26 juni 2009
Het is weer zo ver de eerste wedstrijd op vliegveld Drachten zal plaats vinden op vrijdag 26 juni aanvang 17.00 uur. Wederom komen de snelste straatauto's uit heel Nederland aan de start voor een plaats in het eindklassement voor de Dutch Street Power Serie.
De voorinschrijving is geopend.
De rijders die de moeite nemen om voor in te schrijven zullen hier
veel voordeel uithalen. Je hoeft namelijk alleen je papieren te tonen en de
vrijwaring te tekenen. Door voorin te schrijven hebben wij al jou gegevens
en hoef je zelf niets meer in te vullen. Als je een vast startnummer heb,
vergeet deze niet in te vullen; scheelt ons veel werk.
Wij hopen hier mee een lange wachtrij te voorkomen, dus ga naar:
Je kunt op de DHRA site controleren of je bent ingeschreven!
Niet vergeten!!
Neem je helm, het kenteken, het APK formulier en je rijbewijs mee; als ook
een shirt met lange mouwen.

naast elkaar aan de start!

seizoen van 2009 start
groots met de seizoensopener op Circuit Park Zandvoort,
AutoMaxx Streetpower op 1 maart a.s.
En
ook dit
keer vol met actie, zeg maar gerust: extra veel actie! De extra
versnelling komt voort uit de
hernieuwde samenwerking tussen
DHRA en 402EVENTS,
die gezamenlijk het seizoen starten zoals nooit te voren!
Wie kent de tijd niet van de AutoMaxx Street Power events van 2003
en 2004 met
bomvolle tribunes!
Tijdens de samenwerking worden de sterke punten van beide partijen
benadrukt.
Er word gereden in de klassenindeling van de DHRA, waarbij iedereen
welkom is en er geen verplichtingen zijn!
KLasse indeling: ASL, BSL, CSL, DSL, SE en SM.
Aan de start van de ¼ mile (402 meter) kan je dus de top van Nederland
verwachten. Veel bekende rijders hebben zich al aangemeld en de
diversiteit van de sprinters is groot!
Van lichtgewicht Honda’s, omgebouwde VR6 Golfjes, turbo Peugeot’s,
duizelingwekkende Impreza’s tot massieve Amerikanen…
Ze hebben zich allemaal massaal aangemeld. PK’s, kilo’s, tractie en
reactie.. dat is waar het om gaat!
Zorg dat jij op tijd je plek op de tribune hebt veroverd voor de finale, want hierover gaat nagepraat worden!
De wedstrijd zal mee tellen voor het DHRA Dutch
Street Power kampioenschap.
De rijders die mee willen doen roepen wij op zo snel mogelijk in te
schrijven; vol is vol.

27. annual British Bike Meet
British Bike Meet i Mosten MC d. 5-6-7 juni, er for motorcyklister med olierede tilbøjeligheder og en holdning, der indikerer, at rigtige motorcykler selvfølgelig laves i England.
Første weekend i juni kan nærmest sammenlignes med rettroende muslimers pilgrimsfærd til Mekka, for denne weekend i juni, valfarter omkring 1000 engelskkørende fra hele Scandinavien, England, Tyskland og Holland, til Mosten MC, for at deltage i det årlige træf, for rigtige motorcykler.
Træffet afholdes som de tidligere år, på klubbens ejendom og idylliske arealer, i Bodeenge ved Allingåbro på Djursland.
Træffet byder på en sund blanding af klassisk cross for hæderkronede mærker som AJS, Matchless, BSA, Triumph m.fl., tomgangskonkurrence i Hall of Rock, dragracing for engelske motorcykler på klubbens egen drag strip, samt en flot fællestur ud i herredet, hvor der gøres pit stop på den lokale gokartbane, hvor der er gratis øl og vand til alle.
Denne skønne blanding af motoriserede aktiviteter, krydres med masser af god musik, der starter allerede fredag aften med All That Blues, der fyre den af, så man skulle tro at Tottas Blues Band var vendt tilbage.
Lørdag aften, efter overrækkelsen af de mange præmier, i klassisk cross, dragracing, og flotteste motorcykel m.m., er det Øernes Blues Band der fyrer den af i Hall of Rock, og her kan i forvente jer boogie blues når det er bedst, så på med snabeltyrkerskoene, og ud at svinge.
Træffet slutter søndag morgen med morgenbuffet, så deltagerne har noget at stå i mod med på turen hjem.
Da dette ikke bare er et træf for motorcyklister, er alle velkommen til at kikke ud, og se masser af klassiske motorcykler, dragrace, motocross og fed musik hele weekenden, så kik forbi, det er et besøg værd.se info på WWW.Mosten-MC.dk

I am now on the way back to Sweden after the finals at Santa Pod in England . This year has been a very strange year. Rain is a short summery of this year. This time did the qualification for the street cars and Thursday rain and it continued on Friday and Saturday. On Saturday evening was we very close to be able to start but then started it to rain again. On Sunday morning was it better but still wet,. After big efforts from the track crew and a lot of other were we able to start the qualification. We did start straight on with Top Fuel cars and had one pair before we had to brake for the rain again but a little bit later could we start and around 14.00 did we start the qualification for motorcycles.
In Super Twin did we start with Ton Pels new bike with Roel Koedam on it but it sad pom and stoped so he was not qualified. After som problems for some and some less problems did Rolfstad from Norway end up as number one qualifier and with that also the champion of the year.
In Top Fuel bike was it very exciting. Sverre Dahl went out and made a superb 6.19 run and later come Peter Svensson on a 6.27 ant last pair out was Ian King and Rikard Gustavsson. Ian did a very nice 6.28 and Rikard did have some problem so he did not qualify. With this result did Ian pass him in the points and was the new champion or more to say managed to keep the number one position this year.
In Pro Stock Bike was the champion already clear after that Fredrik Fredlund arrived to the track. But with big interested did we all look for all then new riders from Greece and Philippe Runget from france.Could the qualify or not. Yes they could. Philippe qualified as number 4 and Mixalis and Antonis did qualify as number 6 and 7 leave names as Bishop and Hope outside the ladder
In the first round of Super Twin Bike did Rolfstad have a solo run and also Olstad due to the fact that Turburville was broken. Stauble also get to the semi final after Job Heezen did brake his belt. In the last pair did the two men from Skåne meet each other Per Bengtsson and Tommy Möller. After a red light did it look easy for Per but crossing the centre line is not good so Tommy did win even after the red light.
In Top fuel bike did Sverre Dahl first go out and mad a very nice 6.14 sec run. In the next pair was it Kai Selekamma against Chris Hall with Hall as the winner. Then was it time for Peter Svensson against Neil Midgley. Peter goes out strong very strong and make 3,91 sec over the first 1/8 mile but then switching to next gear turn the bike a little bit and he also crosses the centre line and Neil is the winner. But this would almost sure have been a 5 sec run. If so the first outside USA: And finaly did Ian King goes to the semifinal after a very nice 6.20 sec run, new personal best for Ian.
Pro Stock bike was a little bit different then usually. Ulf Ögge did make it to the semi and he will meet Philippe Runget from France that did win over Richard Gipp. On the other half will it be Len Padget against Mixalis Tsoutsidi from Greece that did win over the European Champion Fredlund then his bike stopped at the start line
And can any one guess what then happens. It starts to rain again. And since the time was 19.45 was it to late and dark to try to do some ting I must say that the people of the club did work very good and never did gave up.

After this is the championship for 2008 finished. Hope to se you all on the tracks for 2009

Hallo friends
I am now back in Sweden after the race in Norway. Gardermoen is a very special place. It is one of the best tracks in Europe, if not the best. Many of the people working are very niced and friendly. I have known several of them fore many years.
Arriving on Thursday and doing the track inspection in bright sun shine was easy. Now do they have a new toilet and shower block that did look fine. Still some problems but much better then before.
On Friday did we have very good weather and did two qualification rounds without any problem.
But on Saturday did it start to rain just before we should start qualify and the did it come small drops until the evening. So we just had to wait, the qualification did only take place on Friday and the organizer did miss a lot of money due to the fact that it was almost no public on Saturday. The weather forecast for Sunday was not so much better and it turned out to be even worse. It started to rain just before we should start the elimination for the bikes and then did it continue. Just around 3 a clock was the track almost ready for us but then did it start to rain again. So it was nothing else to do for the clerk of the course then to abort the race. It did not even help to have the UEM Vice president Ted Bartlett or the Norwegian member of the board Lene Fåvang at the site.
Some things about the qualification. In Top Fuel bike did we have 7 real Top fuel Bikes and the Rikard Gustavsson and the two Czechs. After Friday evening was it Eric Teboul in the top with a 6.2 pass followed with Norwegian Sverre Dahl also in the 6.2 sec. After him was it Peter Svensson on a 6.3 pass with low top speed since he shout of early. Ian King was the forth before Kai Selekäma in the last position was it Rikard Gustavsson who normally is in the top. Every one did hope for some more qualification rounds so they could improve the times. The situation in the championship is very exacting. Rikard just 12 points before Ian King leves the champion totally open before the last race. Peter Svensson and Eric Teboul just 45 and 46 points after can make it also to the top if something happens. This shows how important it is to attend all races. If they both had been in Finland had the championship could be won easy of either of them
In Super Twin was it Lorenz Stauble what was the fastest after the qualification of the six people attending the race. We are missing many names this year. Hopefully will more come out next year. Number two was Job Heezen and third was Svein Olaf Rolfstad who now is leading the championship with 34 points before the last event. If he comes to England and makes a good qualification will he almost certainly be the champion. He should have met his Norwegian fellow Hans Olaf Olstad in the first round. Tommy Möller was on the 5 place and should had meet Heezen And finally Per Bengtsson that had some problems during the qualification on Friday and was waiting very much for a new round on Saturday but to race Loren Stauble in the first round could have been go for the Silver place in the championship.
In Pro Stock Bike did Fredrik Fredlund once again be the fastest after the two first rounds. If he just turns up at Santa Pod in September will he be tha champion if the qualify. Followed by Chris Hope that is getting closer to some really good times. And once again was Stavros Syrachnos number three with once again straight nice passes. A little bit different from the first once at Mantorp. Martin Bishop that was forth this time should had meet the other Greek Haralambos Boysinis in the first round. Hope that this two greeks will make the final event in England and that we will se them more times next year. Both the riders and the bikes have great potential. The most surprise was that Ulf Ögge was the last in the qualification after some problems with ignition. Gabriella Nikolovska was the first and only alternate after making here first seven sec pass. It was close that she had taken out Ögge in that run. Hopfylly will we see more of riders next year and with Keit Bartletts promise to have a 16 bike field if it just fulfill the regulations can it be an very interesting next year.
We did also have the final round for the Pro Stock Snowmobiles here at Gardermoen, with just two riders turning up. I do not know what more to say then Christina Blomquist once again is the winner of the cup. Since she is the only one that has attended both races. Unlucky did we not have any elimination either in Sundsvall or here at Gardermoen due to rain but we have a final result. I do not know if we can continue this CUP if the interest from riders is so low. I do now that this was a middle year due to different facts, BUT BUT BUT.
This is my short report from Norway and Gardermoen. I do hope that the people at NDRG can find a way to organize a race also next year at the same time. The track is good and the facilities have improved a lot since last year. Nobody will blame then if the infrastructure not will be better next year due to the fact that they did not have a good weather this time and not so much spectators this time. The time just after Sweden is perfect and all people love the track. Maybe can they in the future host both the FIA and the UEM championship.
Now is my hope only that we can have final in Santa Pod in the beginning of September without rain or any other problems.

Christian ”Muren” Thomsen.
Muren har desværre forladt os alt for tidligt, d. 18 marts 2008 efter længere tids sygdom.
Han var med til at starte Drag Bike Racing op i Danmark, og var med til stiftelsen af Drag Bike Club Denmark, i Randers i 1999. Han var altid at finde til vores Drag Racing løb her i Danmark som ”synsmanden”, ( kært barn flere navne ). Bortset fra de sidste par år som han valgte at bruge på familien, Helle og ikke mindst deres 2 børn, Camilla og Rasmus på henholdsvis 5 og 9 år. Han fungerede også 3 år som mekanikker på den eneste Top Fuel Bike i Danmark, både hjemme på værkstedet i Tilst, og flere baner rundt om i Europa.
De dybeste medfølelser til Camilla, Rasmus og Helle. Og Muren du vil altid blive husket, RIP.

I forbindelse med sæsonens mange arrangementer i hele landet afholdt MC Mosten, Allingåbro, Randers prøvekørsel for diverse toptunede køretøjer.I Randers var bl.a. Finn Asserbo fra team RCS mødt op med teamets nyindkøbte Top Fuel Dragster og skulle for første gang ud og prøvekøre den.
Efter tre forsigtige forsøg,
gennemførte Finn Asserbo sit fjerde fosøg med dagens hurtigste tid 4.7 sek for
de 202 meter.
...unge piger og gamle mænd stod herefter i kø for at få Finn's autograf.
